I was doing some research for Mist to try and predict Beta for WoD and this what I found.
announced on oct 21 2011

march 21 beta pub 2012
(why am I still doing dragon soul to get beat by rogues with legendary who auto attack with poisons and do 70% of their dmg w/o pushing buttons?)
released September 25 2012 (FINALLY, now remind me why I like questing?)
Jokes aside I feel inclined with buy able 90's and a some what soft release date that this month beta will be announced, good luck getting in.

I expect WoD to be released early Autumn (After July), but only time will tell. As for beta, this summer by the latest. My biggest concern is to use my boost on a Druid, Shaman or Warlock (all under 50, Warlock being 28)
Probably Lock since they're OP and leveling the others are as easy as queuing as a healer.

Here's some more dates for you: Burning Crusade released January 15, 2007 Wrath of the Lich King released November 13, 2008 Cataclysm released December 7, 2010 Mists of Pandaria released September 25, 2012 There's been a bit of back and forth, but the trend is for earlier release dates as they get better and better at making and releasing expansions (content notwithstanding). Here's a link to a Blizzard post where they state " Warlords of Draenor launches worldwide this fall, and you can prepare for the coming invasion now by immediately* boosting a character to level 90 with your pre-purchase of the expansion digitally." That said, I am still hoping the trend for earlier release dates continue, and we see a beta before March 21, and a release date before September. I'm thinking August... |

So this is sort of crazy if my math is correct.
21 BC to Wotlk month gap from release to release
25 Wotlk to cata gap
22 Cata to MoP gap
current MoP to now Gap 18
Get ready for what I would say at least 6 more months of SoO

So this is sort of crazy if my math is correct. 33 month Cata to MoP gap um, i think your math is off? 12/7/10 to 9/25/12 is 1 year, 9 months, 18 days. So more like 21 months, or 22 if you're rounding. |

I have a druid parked at level 60 just waiting for this  |
